MAfrika was creatively birthed by Nicola Jackman as she shared joy with children in hospitals.

Nicola realised that MAfrika's loving nature could inspire the world and so she made it her goal to bring MAfrika to the world in 2012.

The Dream

MAfrika touring 20 cities growing love, joy & unity in the world.

MAfrika is an adventure story about a deeply connected, open, playful and very loving child. She is just 6 years old journeying from the fantastical land of MinXa to find the WOWders and save her land from the Numshaq.

MAfrika was originally a care clown in hospitals and now she seeks to reach thousands with her message of love & care. Her ginormous courageous nature inspires many to open up their hearts and choose loving kindness.

In 2012 Nicola Jackman launched MAfrika and they have reached over 6500 children & adults in 6 cities, including Namibia & Zimbabwe.

She's currently looking to take it global & reach arts & children's festivals & hundreds of schools around the world.

The show is a highly interactive edu-tainment piece, where the children learn how to release fear, be grounded in purpose, laugh loads and ultimately that LOVE is the most powerful choice.

MAfrika is a 50min performance for families, with the ideal age reach, being from 4-12years. Children love the show & love MAfrika, adults have also been deeply moved and when she visits a city, she visits schools in the region, to help market the show & spread her message further too.

Jackman effortlessly offers the audience a varied and vivacious cast and it is often startling to recall that she is, in fact, the only person on stage.

MAfrika's journey took us to the heart of what we all (young & old) sense, or want to feel in our lives: the innocence of wonder, the discovery of our fears and the joy of overcoming them so that we can connect with our true self. She inspires us to rekindle the kindness that we all want to see among us and reminds adults especially, to look more at the world through children's eyes. MAfrika reminds us that Mother Nature is part of us and that we need her in our lives.
